After mastering Dutch Braids, it will open up your hairstyle game to multiple other hairstyles! This braid is very simple but it’s pretty complex for those beginner braiders.

The first step is to brush all of your hair onto one side of your face, where your part is the deepest. Next, you’re going to take a chunk of hair and split it up into three different sections.

You’re going to take one of the outer sections and pass it underneath the middle section. Then you’re going to do the same for the opposite outer section.

You’re going to do this again, but you’re going to grab a little bit of loose hair and add it to each section as it goes underneath the middle.

Once you’ve done this, you’re just going to repeat until you get near the bottom. Just keep grabbing loose hair as you pull each section underneath the middle. Once you’ve added all your hair to the braid, you’re going to do a normal three strand braid.

Make sure your hair is nice and tight so there aren’t any awkward gaps in the braid. After completing the braid, you’re going to pancake your braid to make it look thick and even more beautiful!

To pancake your braid, you just pull on each section, starting from the bottom up!
